The Andhakaara Path to Power - An Epic Journey to the Source
The Andhakaara Path to Power (APTP) stands as a monumental 365-day Work Study training program, promising to transport its dedicated students into the realm of ancient Tantric Laya Yoga, Kriya Yoga, and a profound lineage of magical Tantric traditions. Yet, the program is famously defined by a striking irony: despite its extensive curriculum and spiritual ambitions, only one person is considered to have truly mastered the APTP in its totality.
This sole “master”, who took on the long project after suggesting such an endeavor would be impossible for anyone to complete in consecutive order, stands as the unique benchmark of success. This leaves an open challenge for all aspirants: “one so to say in the world has mastered the APTP... You want to be the second one?”
This self-imposed barrier highlights the depth and commitment required for the course, where even a single day’s practice is described as offering enough spiritual insight to last a lifetime.
The Philosophy of Darkness and Prana
At the core of the APTP lies the Andhakaara Method, a system whose name immediately conveys its unique philosophy:
Andhakaara (अन्धकार), meaning darkness, translates the course’s intent to “power through the darkness”.
This is not a path of mere absence, but of embracing the absolute darkness from which the bright and radiant universe was born. The tradition sees the ultimate source of nature as “complete darkness,” which is revered as “darkness full of Prana” (प्राण, primary energy).
The method is rooted in an animistic Yoga that posits:
The Power of Void: The darkness is seen with open eyes, embodying the beautiful void—the state before birth, which the Buddhists term Bardo (antarabhāva in Sanskrit).
The Path of Rebirth: In the Andhakaara Method, the journey is intentionally structured to go “from the dark to the light and not from the light to the dark”. This contemplation of the darkness is believed to allow the student to experience the original world “like a new-born baby”.
Contemplative Practice: The ultimate goal is to accumulate great powers by repeatedly exercising an extinguished yogic technique of “staring into the darkness with open eyes”. This concentration, a form of Dhāraṇā called trataka (राटक, method of fixing the eye on one object), is said to use the prana of the universe’s dark matter to be absorbed within the practitioner.
A Comprehensive and Personalized CurriculumThe 365-day training is comprehensive, drawing inspiration from ancient practices such as pre-Vedic shamanism and the principles of Advaita Vedanta. It aims to guide the student toward understanding their metaphysical nature, leading to “profound happiness and self-awareness”.
Key Curricular Pillars
Tantric and Yogic Concepts: The program is a deep immersion in the Mahabhutas (the five elements of nature), the chakra system of Kundalini Yoga, Pranayama, and complex visualization techniques. It includes both Kundalini Sadahana and Kriya Yoga Sadahana.
The 10 Mahavidyas: The training is structured into ten levels, with each level corresponding to one of the Mahavidya goddesses, the ten female manifestations of a non-dual reality.
Sexuality and Life Energy: Beyond meditation, the course encompasses Indian spiritual practices related to divine sexuality, including non-ejaculation techniques with Vajroli Mudra for men and methods to strengthen vaginal muscles for women. The philosophy draws its “greatest inspiration from sexuality,” teaching exercises that focus on sexual energy to make the body a magnet for positive attraction and mind-blowing sex.
Holistic Spiritual Toolkit: The curriculum spans a broad spectrum of practices, including Advaita Vedanta psychology & psychotherapy, Bija Mantras & the Sanskrit alphabet, and Theory & practice in animistic magic.
The instructional methodology is highly personalized, with all materials - daily videos, audios, and texts - delivered exclusively via WhatsApp to ensure focused and customized support. The program encourages a self-paced approach, allowing students to expand or delay a day’s lesson to fully integrate the wisdom.
Pricing and Commitment
The course is built to be as flexible as the students who join it, and it is important that everyone has the chance to study these teachings. The payment structure reflects this openness. Some parts of the training ask for a deeper level of personal work with the teacher, so the contribution for those units is adjusted individually. These advanced sections often involve a personal conversation or an initiation and therefore include a private video session with a teacher from Forbidden Yoga. This combination of financial choice and personal guidance highlights the intensity of the work and the innovative character of a program rooted in the mystical left handed Vamachara Tantra tradition.
